Functions, tasks of the iemh

1. Functions

IEMH is the non-productive unit belong to the Ministry of the Education and Training. It is the training/retraining center on management science for school managers of educational and training area (mainly in the south Vietnam), and doing researches as well as doing counseling on management science, on innovating management organization of the area, and having a leading role in terms of professional knowledge in the training/retraining units system of educational and training school managers.

2. Tasks

T1. Training/retraining

1.1. Training/retraining adijacent and in-office school managers of educational management offices at all levels, at all kinds of schools (Kindergarten, secondary, continuing educational centers, professional secondary schools, career teaching schools, college/university).

1.2. Training/retraining professional knowledge for officers in district/province offices at all levels (inspectors, officers being on duty on personnel and planing office), other officers in schools (document keepers, librarians, lab keepers, . . .)

1.3. Training/retraining professional knowledge on administration for subject heads, department heads, . . . of all kinds of schools.

1.4. Training/retraining professional knowledge for teachers of officers’ retraining offices on educational and training in province/city.

T2. Researching educational management science

2.1. Research practical and theoried background on training and educational management.

2.2. Research scientific background of regulations, conventions of management organising of training and educational management offices and of all kinds of schools.

2.3. Research practical and theoried background on economic – society – education – training in order to predict educational development, educational development planning, system developing, school scale, educational investing, . . . aiming at developing the national education.

2.4. Doing counseling, critique, and assessment on educational economic and educational management science for involved scientific researches and projects.

N3. Becoming a professional leading unit in reatraining offices on training and educational managers

3.1. Coordinating these offices to develop training/retraining objectives, curriculum, and content for training and educational managers.

3.2 Providing information on management science for retraining offices of training and educational management managers, of officers and creating a good chnce for them to exchange experience on professional things.

3.3. Connecting and doing cooperation between retraining offices of training and educational management managers on training/reatraining managers, officers, dutied people in schools.

N4. Doing international cooperation in management organization field according to the regulation of the goverment and of the Ministry
